Now I have waited forever for an engine that renders a whole planet all at once and with such epic detail. I would like to start a suggestion for the ultimate game that could come of this epic engine.
First I would like to state my idea here:
A game that would be based off of real time data as well as every single building and structure on earth today. Don't get me wrong this game would take years and years to develop but I personally think it would almost be the best game ever made. Ok so the whole world would be rendered inside outerra. You would be able to build structures on a server and this server would be your home server but you could also visit other servers but not do anything on them except walk around. So the gui would be like a FPS game such as BF3. But this game would also be a real time strategy game whereas you have to maintain control of your area along with your friends online. ( also this game would be multiplatformed so you would be able to play with friends over xbox, ps3, and pc sortof how you can play portal 2 multiplayer with someone on pc while your on ps3.) So the basics you would be able to freely rome whereever you like, drive every vehicle such as cars boats planes helicopter even aircraft carriers. You would get to chose where you would like to have your aliance to be. Sorry if this post is very out of order I will revise this in another post. You can build fight drive live eat dance party have fun anything you do in real life you would be able to do. You could be an everyday worker if you like or you could be a marine. There would be a form of government that you and your aliance would chose.
