As a roaming soul view, yes it should look like that.  Now with the occulus, you wouldn't need to be dead to have the full experience of it  :)

It became really cool to record timelapse videos after the implementation of clouds. Here's one from the nothern coast of Greenland.
The only lacking thing is a smoother transition of environmental illumination. Is it gonna be possible to achieve in future?

Yep :)

New video, slightly longer. I still need to find the good balance between perfs during recording and video quality.

A quick (and hopefully dynamic) look at the clouds! Its a tragedy that its so hard to make Outerra movies without recording glitches, though.  :(

The clouds looked to be too fast ...

... i like doing that, taking the Mig and flying up and down, or around clouds.

Great video!
The only weird thing is the transparent elements of the cockpit hidden under the clouds, tickle a bit the brain  =D

Yep, time is sped up by a factor of about 10. It just made the flying environment more visually interesting, and is actually a bit of a rush when you are twisting and turning while the clouds are whizzing around like that.

No sane person would ever take a glider up in winds that fast in real life, though.....  =D
