"Oh no .. no ...
It is I who must apologize!   :-[
I reread my post and, indeed, could be interpreted with a subtle sense of irony .... That was not my intention !!
I realized that the word "fun" was used in "good sense".
In fact, I really wanted to "catch on the fly" your words to repeat that, for me, is more important to excite, engage and convey an emotion rather than be strictly faithful to reality !!
And then languages have very different methods of interpretation ......

However: Everything OK, really: No problem !!!

I thoroughly enjoyed your fast post but, really, no problem !!!   :) :) :)"

We are good!!!    :)  :)  :)

You're right, it is much more frequent that we are wrong to write rather than google translation.
But ....
How many times I've had (and still have) the doubt about the interpretation of a post or that what I think is translated faithfully ..... =|
Languages have many "sayings" that does not have the same meaning for all ....
I always hope in patience and in "good faith" of those who read me ....  :)

A ROCKET USING BULLET PHYSICS, THAT IS AWESOME!

I played around for a while with it and am quite impressed. Very nice work!

Best regards,
Uriah

Hi! Uriah, an appreciation of you is very welcome.
Especially because it concerns the playability of the model and I am waiting with apprehension the opinions of users on this topic.
Like it? ...
It will give the impression of realism enough? ...
Who uses it on really feel suspended in the air? ...
Receive a first positive opinion I am very pleased!
Thanks a lot!

The first to be pleasantly surprised by the loyalty and the power of Bullet Physics I was really me!
If you have to deal with the aerodynamic interactions, it is essential to an environment like jsbsim (with its functions already compiled into machine language is extremely fast in calculating faithfully the movements of an aircraft in the atmosphere).
But if Anteworld will expand into space (or in the depths of the oceans), perhaps these very precise calculations may be overly heavy for the computer as their effect would be minimal for the realism of the simulation ...
I think of satellites in orbit, to transactions EVA pack, to interplanetary travel in space, asteroids, moons, comets ...
And even in the atmosphere .... if there are no wings and control surfaces .... why complicate your life?
It seems to me that the Bullet physics to precisely know the effect of the thrusts considering the density of the environment in which they occur.
Moreover, between the programmable features of a model is the "Cx"different for the three axes ...

As I said: I'm just a passionate and not a professional so I'm not sure that everything I've said is absolutely certain, but ....
The positive impression remains ,  and remains strong!

(It can work by controlling everything with the script remains priceless !!!)   =D

I finally managed to bring to use the Rocket Man with the new extended commands, the current lights and the normalization of the rotation axes.

I took the opportunity to add some optimizations to the original project:

- Animation switching on and off of the rocket flight systems.
- Addition of precise figures in the pilot's HUD (after the magnificent jobs posted by SteelRat and Uriah).
- Adding an automatic landing system of emergency for the moments of difficulty (I hope it is the result "cute").
- Adding a Hyper Drive that increases engine power in flight outside the atmosphere.
- Various small improvements and finishing on the stability and governability of the vehicle.

To use the model is essential to read the Manual that is in the "Help" directory.
(The downloads are the original addresses).

I hope the Rocket Man now has become even more fun than before, and that results in the user of tasty moments of flight and exploration in the magnificent universe of Anteworld.

Good fun !

A little refined and studied technology and  ...  a little wild imagination!
Is a mix, at times, inconclusive and a little dangerous, but ....

I like it this way !      :)) :))

Hi!  Uriah
I have not really struggled to find a suitable setting in the vast choice that gives us our planet!
Then I played with the absorption of color and transparency of the atmosphere ... and here Mars !!!
However, I had not thought to make the journey with the music of Elton John "headphones" ...
It might be a good idea ....  :D
